Chefshare is on a mission to help modern families reclaim our most precious non-renewable resource of time and bring peace, connection, and joy back into weeknight dinners. We do this through a combination of technology, untapped local support and resources, and scale.
We provide heat and serve meals specifically designed for busy families, from local area chefs.
After research (and self-study), we believe the biggest point of leverage for freeing up time and cognitive load is: food. Especially weeknight family dinners.
We connect families to local area chef-made take-and-bake style meals.
Our approach
We provide heat and serve meals specifically designed for busy families, from local area chefs.
After research (and self-study), we believe the biggest point of leverage for freeing up time and cognitive load is: food. Especially weeknight family dinners.
We connect families to local area chef-made take-and-bake style meals.
Our approach uses customer-provided preference data, paired with chef-prepared weekly menus to cluster and match meal orders in order to reduce the price point of private chef services, making it more accessible.
As we grow, we will be building technology that allows us to "adaptively learn" each family's preferences so that over time, to unlock even more time savings by letting the technology and the chefs create the perfect week's worth of meals without thinking, shopping, cooking, cleaning... or even deciding.

Erin Eatough, PhD is the founder of Chefshare and is a mother, psychologist, and start-up tech executive. She founded this company after becoming fed up with the time-starvation in her own life as a working mother. After auditing her time, nightly dinner was the most consistent, daily demand - both cognitively and physically - getting in the way of spending more quality time during the busy week with her kids. After hiring a private chef, she realized firsthand the huge return on the investment of outsourcing not just the food but the deciding, inventorying, planning, cooking, and cleaning for nightly dinners. She founded Chefshare to make outsourcing this part of modern life more affordable and accessible for other families too.
